Johannes Bracher

Johannes Bracher holds an MSc in Statistics from University of Munich (2016) and a PhD in Epidemiology and Biostatistics form University of Zurich (2020). Currently, he leads an Emmy Noether Junior Research Group at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). His main research interest in in the real-time analysis of epidemiological data, including nowcasting, forecasting and the estimation of reproductive numbers. A particular focus is on the systematic evaluation, comparison and combination of results from different statistical methods.
