Miranda is the executive product manager of BBC News Labs. Her background combines design, digital innovation, and social science. She specialises is running applied, interdisciplinary research that brings together participatory approaches with emerging technologies. Prior to being at the BBC she led the Open Data Institute's R&D programme and worked extensively with the Wellcome Trust's mental health team.
